Frank Green’s smart, minimal design aligned perfectly with the aesthetics palette I love. Being able to customise the lid and body colour to your own taste seemed simple but genius to me. It allows people to blend conscious coffee consumption with self-identity.
It was last November, I was volunteering at Belfast Design Week's 25 Pop-up shop at Indigo Coffee & Gelato and I met Simon Worthington. Not long after I soon realised that Simon was a kindred spirit. Like me he was balancing creative pursuits with a bread and butter career, albeit his creative feat was much more impressive. He is the editor, designer and entrepreneur behind independent magazine Turf & Grain.
So with a Wes Anderson colour palette, my fervent models, a patient and extraordinary photographer, and a lot of giggles, we created this Start Somewhere visual campaign.
